Strengths-Based Mental Model

This mental model suggests focusing on the individual's strengths to overcome challenges, in contrast to identifying and rectifying their weaknesses.
The Strengths-Based Mental Model is a perspective that focuses on identifying and enhancing an individual's inherent strengths, rather than focusing on their weaknesses or failures. For instance, a person may not excel at public speaking, but they may be excellent at writing. Instead of driving them wedged into public speaking, the person can be guided to work on their strengths to express their ideas effectively, which could be writing compelling content or creating a persuasive written discourse. This model helps in rediscovering one's identity through their strengths and using them to achieve their goals.
