Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi coined the flow state, which is relatively rare to experience. One reason why is that when we're in flow, we’re doing something at very high levels of both challenge and skill. We’re at the edge of what we can do but still in control. We’re not bored (too easy) or anxious (too hard). We’re not worried. And we're not apathetic. We are trying to solve a challenge that requires our best game.
